Synopsis: Inspired by the homonymous novel by Patricia Higsmith. During a train trip, Guy, a young tennis champion (Farley Granger), is approached by Bruno (Walker), a young man who knows his life and miracles through the press and who, unexpectedly, proposes a double murder, but exchanging the victims in order to reciprocally guarantee impunity. Thus they could solve their respective problems: he would suppress Guy’s wife (who does not want to grant him a divorce) and, in return, Guy would have to murder Bruno’s father so that he could inherit a great fortune and live on his own terms.
