Reviw: The Nutty Professor is a great Jerry Lewis comedy about a nerdish professor called Julius Kelp (Lewis), who has a crush on one of his students, Stella Purdy (Stella Stevens).
But the professor is too shy to even talk to Stella, so he creates a potion that makes him a handsome tough guy called Buddy Love. When he takes the potion, he’s not afraid at all to talk to Stella, he can even dance with her. But the effect of the elixir doesn’t last so long.
The Nutty Professor is a great comedy. Jerry Lewis really shines in this movie. He is one of my favorite comedians. He really knows how to make people laugh.
In 1996 they made a remake of The Nutty Professor. The star of the new version was Eddie Murphy, who is also pretty good at comedy. But the 1963 Nutty Professor is a classic.
