Synopsis: Photographer Sam Hendrix meets a model on a plane. The young woman she takes with her a doll full of drugs and exchanges it for a gift doll that Sam carries without him noticing it. Later, in Greenwich Village, two criminals who try to recover the drug find themselves in the photographer’s apartment with Roat (Alan Arkin), a ruthless criminal who has murdered the model because he was trying to betray him. Their conversation is interrupted by the arrival of Susy (Audrey Hepburn), Sam’s wife, who is blind.
Review: Based on an effective piece by Frederik Knott, it keeps us on our toes with perfectly constructed intrigue, claustrophobic staging, and near-perfect cast.
